Mold Services/IAQ Testing- continued from home page: Sampling is also used to locate the sources of indoor microorganisms and facilitate an effective remediation.

Inspection: During this process a visual inspection is conducted looking for any signs of structural defect, mechanical failure, visible mold, water intrusion issues, suspected areas of previous water intrusion, allergen proliferation, or environmental conditions conducive to mold colonization.

Our Certified Technicians are equipped with the knowledge, training, technology, and years of experience to diagnose your indoor quality issues.

A variety of tools and instruments are used during the inspection process allowing our technicians to clearly define the extent and pinpoint the source of the IAQ problem.

Inspection – Illness? It may not be a cold.

If you or family members suffer from animal, dust mites or mold allergies, an IAQ Assessment with an allergen screen could provide a valuable tool to better health. Pay attention to any irregular health issues like – wheezing, difficulty in breathing, nasal and sinus congestion, shortness of breath, burning, watery, or reddened eyes, hacking cough, nose or throat irritation, skin rashes or irritation – these may be signs of severe exposure problems.

Air samples and carpet tests can help determine if elevated allergens / mold spores levels are affecting your indoor environment air quality. The goal of biological sampling is to help determine whether the biological particles present in a particular environment are affecting or causing irritation in certain individuals. Sampling is also used to locate the sources of indoor microorganisms and facilitate an effective remediation. While we are typically surrounded by a wide variety of different microorganisms every day, sampling provides us with a method to establish, in a scientific way, whether the environment in question contains more organisms than would normally be present.

There are numerous techniques that may be employed by the indoor quality professional to evaluate the level of indoor microorganisms. Indoor air samples should always be compared against an outside control samples to allow for statistical analysis. Direct samples are conducted of suspect areas to determine the biological nature of the discoloration and/or growth.
